Barbara Maxwell (left), Nurse Practitioner at Bayou District Community Clinic, has been employed by Interim LSU Public Hospital clinic since 2007.

Prior to Hurricane Katrina, she worked in numerous clinics, providing access to primary care, urgent care, and stroke and heart attack prevention. She enjoys working with people and teaching health information.

Dr. Marcelle Rousseau (right) is currently working as a Medical Home Provider at Interim LSU Public Hospital. Her primary locations are at the Bayou District Clinic and the LSU Interim Public Hospital Medical Home Clinic, located at 1400 Poydras Street.

We are looking forward to meeting you! You are welcome to stop by the clinic, located at the corner of St. Bernard Avenue and Caton Street, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
