Spring festival
Join Kingsley House on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm for the 3rd Annual Spring Festival at Columbia Parc. We will have food, games, music, and door prizes to those in attendance.

In partnership with Kingsley House, the Urban League of Greater New Orleans will offer Columbia Parc residents quarterly training opportunities designed to empower job seekers with tools to achieve their long-term goals. Soft skills training, résumé building, job search assistance, business etiquette, interview techniques, and other topics will be covered to improve the valuable employment skills needed to compete in an aggressive workforce. Girl Scouts of America
Parents interested in enrolling their young daughters, ages 5-13, are encouraged to contact Lakeisha Richard in the Kingsley House office at 504-248-6358. Meetings will be held on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the St. Bernard Recreational Center.

Afterschool Program at Tulane Memorial Baptist Church Presented by the YMCA and Capital One Bank

The Bayou District Foundation Afterschool Program will be an effective tool in your child's educational tool box by offering expert afterschool homework help along with a variety of educational activities. A variety of physical and outdoor activities are also included in the program. Sessions run 4:00pm to 7:00pm Monday to Thursday during the school year.
