The Pro Bono Project
The Pro Bono Project will be in the Columbia Parc clubhouse on the last Monday of each month to provide free legal services to Columbia Parc residents. We encourage you to take advantage of this valuable resource. For more information, contact an associate with The Pro Bono Project at 504-581-4043.
Homebuyers Club and Debt Boot Camp
This free program for Columbia Parc residents provides access to premium personal financial education at no cost, and free, confidential, one-on-one credit and financial counseling. Program graduates may be eligible for first-time homebuyer benefits such as the United Way’s Individual Development Account (IDA). Interested residents should contact Terrell Haynes at Kingsley House at 504-282-2424 to register. Childcare services may be arranged in advance.

Youth Advisor Council
Kingsley House Community and Support Services Program’s (CSSP) Youth Advisor Council serves to promote empowerment and participation of youth, who will lend their collective input on programming specific to their own needs and interests. Nine community residents have been selected and will first meet on Saturday, September 13th, 12:30 PM–1:30 PM in the Columbia Parc clubhouse.

Bayou District Foundation is a 501(c)3 non profit organization dedicated to the healthy revitalization and sustainability of the Bayou District and surrounding neighborhoods through quality education, housing and recreation opportunities.

The Bayou District Foundation is excited to report that patient counts at the Columbia Parc Helath Center have been above what was predicted. We thank you for making use of the facility. Parents, please be aware that your children do not need a referral from a pediatrician for you to access the Columbia Parc Health Center on Caton Street/St. Bernard Avenue. Columbia Parc Health Center staff can also make referrals for specialty healthcare, mental health counseling, dental services, and smoking cessation and treatment.
