Lights, Camera, Action!
A crew will be visiting Columbia Parc next week to shoot video and photographs of our community. We’ll be using these materials to produce a video and booklet that will help residents understand all of the wonderful eco-friendly and sustainable "green" aspects of the whole community’s design and construction. Residents will also learn how to take advantage of these energy efficient features to maximize their own home's efficiencies and healthy interior. Stay tuned!

From Blues to Boos!
There’s a lot happening around town this month. The Crescent City Blues and BBQ festival takes place in Lafayette Square Park October 14-16 with free concerts, great food, and crafts. Click here for performance schedule. For younger ones, there’s Boo at the Zoo. On October 21-22 and 28-29, the Audubon Zoo will be transformed to include a haunted house, ghost train, games, and of course trick-or-treating. Learn more at the zoo’s website.

A New Sister for Columbia Parc
Columbia Residential has been selected as the Athens Housing Authority's partner in the redevelopment of New Pauldoe housing project in Athens, Georgia. The community, yet to be named, will host its first community charrette in mid October. Though the precise design of this community is yet to be determined, residents can look forward to stunning, state-of-the-art apartment homes and amenities at this future mixed-income community. Click here to visit the website for the New Pauldoe community.
