King Cake Cocktail Throughout the entire month of January, Ralph’s on the Park offered a specialty King Cake Cocktail to support the Bayou District Foundation’s efforts. Twenty percent of the sales from the King Cake Cocktail have gone to the Bayou District Foundation. A special thanks to Ralph’s on the Park for supporting a great cause and getting us in the Mardi Gras spirit. Bayou District Foundation will be hosting many events in the coming year. Stay tuned to hear about upcoming functions.
Bayou District Foundation would also like to welcome the new Director of Development, Leigh Thorpe. Thorpe, a Loyola University alumnus, was previously director of corporate partnerships for United Way of Greater New Orleans and also served as director of the 900-member Women’s Leadership Council. Thorpe is active in community affairs, including the Loyola University New Orleans Alumni Association, Young Leadership Council and Save Our Cemeteries.
